多読アプリの導入
日常の風景
中1・高1のグローバルコースでは、生徒のiPadに多読アプリ‘Raz kids’（ラズキッズ）を導入して生徒の学習に役立てています。
As part of the Global Course to improve all four skills of English and incorporating ICT and by extension the use of iPads in the classroom we have introduced the use of an application called RAZ A-Z. RAZ A-Z comprises 29 reading levels. The level starts using basic words in English (Level AA) and gradually increases in complexity.
Students can read texts at their level and in their areas of interest anytime with 24/7 Web access to the practice they need to become better, more confident readers. The students are enjoying the application and we have been incorporating the use of the application in our classes to give the students the confidence needed to read fluently, independently and read for fun and enjoyment.
このアプリでは約1800冊の洋書を読むことができます。アプリを開くと生徒のレベルに応じた洋書を選択することができ、英語の音声もついています。生徒は、朝読書のリーディング教材として、また自宅でのリスニング教材としても使うことができます。
日々、新しい文章を読むことで生徒も新鮮な気持ちになり、英語をより身近なものとして捉えるようになりました。
