第4回目のオーストラリア語学研修・事前研修は、コリン先生が担当しました。
今回の事前研修では、前回に引き続き ’Situation Practice’ （海外でのさまざまな状況を想定して会話をする活動）を行いました。
It`s always fun when students can interact with one another while enjoying English. Today`s lesson focused on the different types of containers used for packaging items. ie. can, carton, loaf, jar, etc. and the students learned how to apply them accordingly. Common English language such as ‘a carton of milk` can be helpful when at a grocery store/supermarket overseas. Given the opportunity, students can often acquire new English vocabulary and phrases quickly and use them in the appropriate situations. In addition, today`s lesson helped develop volume, pronunciation, gestures and linking. Participation was excellent and the students were in very good spirits.
このオーストラリア語学研修では、約2週間のホームステイがあります。コリン先生は、主にホストファミリーとの英会話や買い物の場面を想定してレッスンを行いました。
講義として聞くのではなく、生徒に発音・発話させることで積極的に会話を促しました。
日常的によく使われる単語や表現を、英会話を通して学習しました。
次回は、2/13に行われます。
