第１回 Kaiseikan Cup 英語スピーチコンテスト
グローバル教育
本校のグローバルコースで「表現力」「発信力」「他（人や文化）との違いを認める力」を大切にして
おり、それを全て英語で行っています。
今や「英語を話す」ことは特別な能力ではありません。「英語で伝える」ことができれば、子どもたち
の未来が大きく広がります。
浜松開誠館が小学生スピーチコンテストを開催することで、子どもたちの未来に羽ばたく力の一翼を担
うことができれば幸いです。
参加資格 日本在住の小学校５年生・６年生
スピーチ部門 課題「Little Red Riding Hood」（下に原文があります）を表現豊かに３分以内で朗
読していただきます。エントリー受付後に課題を郵送いたします。
弁論部門 テーマ「私の街の好きなところ What I like about my city」と「自分の夢 My
dream」のいずれかについて、３分以内に英語でスピーチしていただきます。
英文と日本語訳をまとめたものを指定の原稿用紙（エントリー受付後に郵送します）
に書いて提出していただきます。本戦では英語で表情豊かにプレゼンテーションし
ていただきます。
応募期間 ７月１６日（月）～８月３１日（金）
発表 日時 平成３０年９月２２日（土） 9：30受付 10：00開始

課題：Little Red Riding Hood
Little Red Riding Hood lived in a wood with her mother.
One day Little Red Riding Hood went to visit her grandmother.
She had a nice cake in her basket.
On her way Little Red Riding Hood met a wolf. `Hello!` said the wolf. `Where are you going?` `I`m going to see my grandma. She lives in a house behind those trees.`
The wolf ran to Grandma`s house and ate Grandma up. He got into Grandma`s bed. A little later, Little Red Riding Hood arrived at the house. She looked at the wolf..
`Grandma, what big eyes you have!`
`All the better to see you with!` said the wolf.
`Grandma, what big ears you have!`
`All the better to hear you with!` said the wolf.
`Grandma, what big nose you have!`
`All the better to smell you with!` said the wolf.
`Grandma, what big teeth you have!`
`All the better to eat you with!` said the wolf.
A woodcutter was in the wood. He heard a loud scream and ran to the house.
The woodcutter hit the wolf over the head. The wolf opened his mouth wide and yelled and Grandma jumped out.
The wolf ran away and Little Red Riding Hood never saw the wolf again.
